Business Is Blooming: An Interview With The Ottawa Herald

Aunt B's Fall Zinnias

Zinnias on the farm in fall.

If you ask Brenda Hayden about flower farming, she’ll tell you that even in the fall, there’s plenty of work to do. After all, spring flowers don’t really come from April showers (like the old rhyme suggests), they come from the not-so-glamorous prep work in the cold fall and winter months.

Her passion for growing flowers started the same way: by preparing a place for them, months and months in advance, in her basement.

Read about Brenda’s journey and why she started Aunt B’s Blossoms in this interview with The Ottawa Herald.
